Discover two true culinary classics at Trattlers Einkehr: our smoked beef brisket and the "BKK-sharing-plate" – authentic, regional and lovingly prepared.

  • Every Thursday from 5:30 pm: BBQ Evening with premium grilled specialties, a fresh salad & side dish buffet, and live music.

  • Sunday Classic: treat yourself every Sunday to our traditional wood-fired roast pork – perfectly crispy on the outside and wonderfully tender on the inside. Served with sauerkraut, caraway beer gravy, warm bacon cabbage salad and bread dumplings. Available while stocks last.

  • Autumn-Highlight: Experience our "Winemakers on the mountain"event series from 19 September to 7 November 2026, as well as the"Fine dining eventings" from 18 September to 10 October 2026 - featuring carefully curated tasting menus created with regional producers and accompanied by selected wines from renowned winemakers.

Trattlerhof Riding Stable

Riding in the Carinthian Nockberge Mountains. Whether it’s a first riding experience or a new adventure in the saddle: Trattlerhof Riding Stable offer a special holiday experience for children, teens and adults.

Riding moments for beginners and advanced riders

At the Trattlerhof riding stable, beginners and advanced riders enjoy special riding experiences in the heart of the Carinthian Nockberge Mountains. Whether on the lunge, in a group riding lesson or on guided trail rides, the focus is on the joy of riding, trust in the horse and personal support from an experienced riding instructor.

Riding safely and happily

The offer is suitable for children aged 6 and over, teenagers and adults. A spacious riding arena is available directly by the riding stable and paddock. This gives beginners ideal conditions for their first steps in the saddle, while advanced riders can refine their skills in a relaxed atmosphere. A memorable holiday experience for horse lovers of all ages.

Tip: Every Tuesday at 11:00 a.m., trial riding is available for 10 minutes for €13. Free with the Sonnenschein Card.

Registration & booking

Horse riding at the Trattlerhof riding stable is available by advance booking only.

Riding lessons, lunge lessons and guided trail rides can be booked directly on site at the reception of Hotel GUT Trattlerhof or by phone on +43 (0) 4240 8172. Monday is the horses’ rest day, so no riding sessions take place on this day.
