A Moment for Advent Magic

If you’re looking for a gentle escape from the bustle of everyday life, Bad Kleinkirchheim offers the perfect place to unwind during the pre-Christmas season.

From 28 November to 21 December 2025, the Kirchheim Advent invites you to enjoy a beautifully crafted atmosphere filled with lights, scents, and music.

The Kirchheim Advent Market opens every weekend from Friday to Sunday, as well as on Monday, 8 December, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., right on the village square, directly opposite the Family & Health Spa St. Kathrein.

Star Trail for Everyone

Starting from the village square, a festively illuminated Christmas path stretches for around 700 meters. Along the shimmering world of stars, accompanied by soft melodies, visitors discover small stops offering fragrant punch and mulled wine, as well as delightful treats—from Christmas Krainer sausages and roasted chestnuts to Alpe-Adria and Mediterranean specialties.

The Star Trail also leads directly past Trattlers Einkehr, where festive flavors and regional delicacies create a wonderful place to pause and enjoy. And for little adventurers, Trattlers Pony Farm awaits, where gentle petting, grooming, and guided pony rides bring bright smiles to curious faces.

As the Christmas village comes to life, a joyful, bustling atmosphere fills the town. Exhibitors prepare their stands, everything is lovingly decorated, and the festive glow begins to unfold. At the Advent market, you’ll discover many beautiful things that spark joy—fine woodcraft, creative jewelry, atmospheric decorations, and inspiring gift ideas for your loved ones.

Culinary delights are also well taken care of at the Kirchheim Advent: regional specialties and warming drinks invite you to relax, indulge, and enjoy the Advent spirit to the fullest.

A Celebration for the Whole Family

On Advent Saturdays, families enjoy a wonderfully cheerful time together. Little ones can look forward to charming adventures—from lovely face painting to an exciting walk with the alpacas, every moment is filled with joy.

In the crafting studio, local farm women show how beautiful Christmas gifts for Mum, Dad, Grandma, and Grandpa can be created from natural materials. And once the letter to the Christkind is ready, it can be sent on a magical journey straight from the Christkind Airmail Station.
