At Trattlers Einkehr we eat whatever comes to the table. But only because it tastes so GOOD. When cooking, the farm chefs focus on enjoyable culinary delights using regional quality products from certified suppliers in the area.

Whether it's local delicacies like the "Kärntner Laxn", the well-known Carinthian traditional cuisine, a down-to-earth Brettljause or exquisite gourmet menus, we tickle your personal taste buds.

Trattler's farm suppliers from the immediate surroundings provide our talented farm chefs with fresh, regional and high-quality products every day. Meat, sausage, cheese, eggs, curd cheese and fresh farmhouse bread come directly from the hardworking farmers in the Bad Kleinkirchheim region. The farm's own herb garden, in which you would love to put down roots yourself, also provides us with fine herbs. At Hotel GUT Trattlerhof**** they focus on quality & regionality with "bite".

We strive to treat nature with care and, as a "Genuss-Wirt", focus on the use of products from the region. We use seasonal food and drinks from the region as well as products from organic farming.

We try to use energy and water efficiently and prefer to use renewable energy sources. Through our own electric power plant, we are well on our way to becoming electricity self-sufficient with 100 % hydropower. Since May 2014, we have converted our entire operation to bioheat. So we only use renewable energies.

From one pleasure to the next: not only in the hotel, but also in Trattler's Einkehr in the valley we invite you to dine. The rustic hut is located directly in the centre of Bad Kleinkirchheim and is only a few minutes' walk from the famous "St. Kathrein" thermal spa. Whether at lunchtime or in the evening, if your stomach grumbles during your adventure holiday in Bad Kleinkirchheim, you will find an enjoyable repertoire of regional delicacies and popular Carinthian treats at Trattlers Einkehr. Upper Carinthian trout & char, the steak from the Austrian calf or the sweet Carinthian Reindling are just a few of the numerous delicacies that await you at the Einkehr. It is no coincidence that the Einkehr is also part of the successful "GenussWirt" gastronomy initiative, is part of the Slow Food movement and is in the Falstaff Guide with 81 points and a fork.
